The Australian Pennies were struck from 1911 to 1964 over 3 reigning monarchs. There are some notable rarities, the most famous being the 1930 year, and the 1925 and 1946 offerings are also scarce, but not as scarce as the 1930. There are some varieties that are rarer than the 1930 but do not attract as high a price that the 1930 does. I would recommend to anyone looking at pricing or varieties to get themselves a copy of one of the Rennicks (not sponsored) books on varieties, errors or values.
